International FOXSI Conference 2016

General Information
As our society moves towards cleaner energies, devices based on solid-state electrochemistry, such as solid oxide fuel cells and solid oxide electrolysis cells are promising technologies. There is an urgent need to better understand the underlying surface chemical and catalytic processes. This workshop aims to review the current state-of-the art, our present fundamental understanding and give impulses for new research directions. It will consist of lectures by leading scientists in the area of catalysis, surface chemistry, solid-state electrochemistry, and modelling. We solicit contributions in the form of oral and poster presentations.
With ample time for discussions and an attractive venue, the ‘TUtheSKY’ Lounge a unique vista place at the centre of Vienna, we invite you to participate in this forward-looking workshop.
